Delta III is the most advanced lithotripter that combines the unique extracorporeal shockwave system with state-of-the-art imaging technology. It has a compact multifunctional table with central control system. Compared to its predecessor, the Delta III is an enhanced version that aims to provide better treatment experience.

Features, Advantages and Benefits

Feature Advantages Benefits
Optivision
OptiVision- is an innovative image post-processing software developed to enhance the image quality by counteracting the factors such as obesity and bowel gases.
Optivision facilitates better diagnosis, treatment, and patient follow-up with no additional radiation risk.
Powerful imaging
Delta III offers improved imaging quality with more power. It has two imaging modalities (Ultrasound or X-ray) for better stone visibility. The therapy head has a focal depth of 170 mm for a broader spectrum of patients. Delta III is equipped with Isocentric outline ultrasound arm offering optimal image quality and multiple imaging windows.
The imaging quality of Delta III provides enhanced visualization of the stone, which can be accurately targeted through the chosen treatment, resulting in better patient outcomes.
Maximized energy
The New EMSE 180 features a larger penetration depth of 170mm with larger range of energy.
A larger penetration depth of 170mm to treat larger patients and larger range of energy allows custom treatment for every patient.
Unified Hand Control
Compared to its forerunner, Delta III has a patent protected unified hand control that offers ease of use and faster workflow. This feature offers precise and easy fingertip control of the lithotripter, the table and X-ray C-arm movements.
The unified handle, and the fingertip control of the device components, promotes usability and better treatment outcomes.
Movement flexibility
Delta III has optimized movement rangers and ergonomics that offer high flexibility and versatility. The therapy head support can be rotated to overtable or undertable configurations, effectively allowing for more than 120 degrees of access.
The movement flexibility helps in imaging from all angles with no need to change the patient’s position, hence promoting patient comfort.
OptiCoupleTM
OptiCoupleTM is a real-time video imaging technology located within the therapy head to check for air bubbles in the coupling area between the water cushion and the patient. Operators can locate and remove possible regions of inadequate patient. coupling under direct visual control.
Shock wave energy transmission is maximized by immediate removal of visualized air bubbles by the user. This allows reduction in the required number of shockwaves by 25%, energy level by 23% and total applied energy by 43%.
