OverStitch Endoscopic Suturing System

ESG

Quick Contact

The OverStitch endoscopic suturing system is used to approximate soft tissues and place endoscopic sutures. It is specifically designed to perform stable constructs with its unique full-thickness suturing. Improved visualization of the operative site during the procedure aids in better control and minimizes scope usage. Such features enable the surgeon to perform versatile procedures with enhanced efficiency.

Features, Advantages and Benefits

Following are the featured advantages and benefits of the OverStitch Endoscopic Suturing System.

Feature Advantages Benefits
Full-thickness suturing
The OverStitch Endoscopic Suturing System enables the surgeon to perform full-thickness gastroplications for reducing the volume of the gastric cavity. It is the only endoscopic technique that enables suturing along the greater curvature of the stomach to form a sutured endoscopic sleeve.
The ability to perform durable and full-thickness suturing improves efficiency and offers stable sutured arrangements for patients. The full-thickness sutures also hold tissue approximation until the tissue is healed.
Minimally invasive approach
The OverStitch Endoscopic Suturing System offers minimally invasive approach for durable and full-thickness suturing
The minimally invasive approach reduces post-operative hospital stay and procedure-related complications.
Customized suturing
OverStitch has the ability to deploy running and interrupted stitches. The curved needle design enables placing full-thickness sutures with knotless fixation.
The ability of OverStich to perform variable types of the stitches enables the surgeon to treat wide range of indications.

OverStitch 2-0 Polypropylene Suture

OverStitch 2-0 Polypropylene Suture is sterile non-absorbable suture. The suture is attached to an implantable anchor that is compatible with OverStich ESS devices. The anchor helps to perform suturing with greater efficiency and ensures secure suture placement.

OverStitch Suture Cinch

OverStitch Suture Cinch is used for knotless fixation of suture after completiton of each suturing pattern. It is made of thermoplastic PEEK material.

OverStitch Tissue Helix

Overstitch Tissue Helix is used for grasping the tissue during suturing. Knob rotation allows grabbing and releasing of tissue. The stainless steel coil can be retracted safely inside the outer sheath to prevent damage to tissue or endoscope channel.

OverTube Endoscopic Access System

The OverTube Endoscopic Access System is designed to provide safe access and maintain insufflation during advanced endoscopic surgical procedures. Inflatable proximal cuff and flexible distal tip conform to the scope to provide a two level insufflation seal to ensure appropriate insufflation and clear visibility. Flexible design with tapered distal tip offers atraumatic entry and protects esophagus in a wide range of endoscopic procedures.
